The Unspeakable Gift

The Holiday Season has become frantic with little time for meditation, reflection.  I remembered a television show from the 1950’s.  In a Christmas episode of Father Knows Best, Bud asked the question, “What is the greatest gift?”  The answer in the show was love.  It was partly right, for God is love and Jesus was given in love.  The song is an answer to the that question.  

'The Unspeakable Gift' ranks as the greatest of gifts because when it is received, words will not suffice.  The joy accompanying this gift leaves a person unable to speak out.  But here goes.  It is a gift believed, received, lived and loved.  Nobody can experience it for another person.  It is only known by enjoying it.  It’s useless, I’m speechless!
